Huge premium foldable chess set, tournament sized board and pieces
This premium chess set is huge with the board measuring 20” x 20” and the play area being about 17 ¼” x 17 ¼”. The board is made of solid wood and can be folded open or closed. On the other side of the chess board, there’s excellent storage for the chess pieces. The pieces can fit nicely inside with spaces for each piece before being folded and locked close. Between the foldable design and storage for the chess pieces inside, this is a great travel set. The chess pieces are also large with the king measuring 3.74” height with the rest of the pieces being similar in scale. The chess pieces are made from PVC with a wood design, have a nice gloss, and are a weighted with felt bottoms. Additionally, there are an extra set of queens included. This chess set meets the size standards of a tournament-sized chess set while also being foldable. I only wish the chess pieces were made of wood instead of PVC. Wood pieces would have been more appealing and higher quality than PVC plus it would have matched the wooden board. Either way, I would recommend this excellent chess set due to its high-quality, large size that meets tournament standards, and for it being great for travel since it can be folded with the pieces being able to be stored inside.
