SUPER VALUE
Every game in this set is awesome and everyone knows that, so I’m not reviewing the quality of the games included, what I am going to review it’s the content itself. The soundtrack comes in a very good quality and it does include every theme ever on the Street Fighter saga. The Ryu’s Black Belt is not just a cheap replica, it really is made like a profesional black belt made with really good materials. The Blu-rays included are good to watch too, they come with the best pieces of SF animation ever created. The Ryu statue is really awesome too, it’s not a tiny statue it mesures about 8 inches from base to top and it lights up really cool. The box it’s really nice too, it built with hard materials so you should keep it, and it comes with a cool Kandji. So you get all those games, soundtracks, movies and collective stuff for a very cheap price, so yeah, I absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Best Collector’s Edition set I’ve seen thus far.
It’s Street Fighter. You’re looking at THE classic 2-d fighter that your parents would have let you play (barring Mortal Kombat). If you were a fan of the originals, you’ll be a HUGE fan of this. It’s great! The game play is smooth, you’ll see a lot of the characters you remember, and the entire style is very similar to what you’d remember (if you’re like me, and still remember playing Street Fighter II).I haven’t played the downloadable content or XBox Live features, yet. However, this game is pretty polished. The load times are there, but it’s not too bad. That would be my only real complaint. Now, the goodies. This thing comes in a really, really nice chest style box. And it’s not cheaply made (it seems pretty sturdy). It’s well organized, and you get everything it says in the box. Remember I mentioned Street Fighter II? You get a pass to download it (Turbo HD Remix — whatever that is). I could rant and rave about how well done the packaging, goodies, and everything else as nostalgia washes over me, but I’ll just let you make your decision (and enjoy it, if you purchase this).Correction: I wanted to be more accurate on the downloadable content. You get a bunch of costume packs, character updates for Street Fighter X Tekken, Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and Street fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition. Those are full games, by the way.Additionally, and I need to be perfectly clear on what this isn’t, this is NOT a collection. You don’t get every single Street Fighter release in this box or codes for all of them. You get the 25th anniversary set, which is in essence an homage to a fighting game legacy that shook the genre.

What happened to capcom.
First off the product was good. No complaints there. But you are not getting what you pay for. Over half of it is dlc only. The figure is imperfect, the extras are nice like the art book and the blk belt. But i was really hoping for a hard copy version of all the games. A piece of paper with a code on it is not collectors edition period. That’s a joke for a company to sell this to fans of street fighter for over 20 years. To pay anything over 40 for this is stealing from the fans. Capcom get your s*** together and remeber all those who bought all the street fighters first day full price.

Good value and works in a PAL xbox
I was pleasantly surprised that all the games and bonus content works well in my Australian Xbox without any need to create a U.S account. This collection is best if you haven’t got any of the dlc included in the box. If you were to get all the dlc separately you would end up paying over $AU 150. Plus you get the extra things like the belt, figurine and movies.

25 Years of Street Fighter
The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set is a must-buy for every Street Fighter fan. With all the classic goodies it comes with, it handily hit me with a huge dose of nostalgia.I already have copies of Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012 and Street Fighter X Tekken so getting extra discs is nice. The download codes for SF3: 3rd Strike and SF2 Turbo HD Remix let me get my nostalgia fix. Getting download codes for all the SFxT dlc characters, swap costumes, and all SSF4AE alternate costumes, was really great as well. It would have been nice if they included DLC codes for the SF Alpha series, Darkstalkers, or the Marvel vs Capcom Origins package online but I guess the set is really strictly Street Fighter only. The Ryu figurine is nice but its led lights were not positioned to properly light up Ryu’s upper torso. When it’s turned on, you get Ryu’s legs well-lit and a very darkened upper torso. Really can’t even tell it’s Ryu from afar. The included Ryu belt was a nice touch. My friends took turns tying it on and rendering their best versions of dragon punches to hilarious effect. The SF Tribute artbook is a nice addition to my artbook collection but a bit thin in my opinion.I’m curious as to why all the soundtrack discs are separate for each SF game that came out when they put all the videos on one Bluray. Sure its impressive to see a ton of cds on the packaging but kind of disappointing that they are all just soundtracks that could all easily fit on one Bluray. The Tribute video contained nice tidbits from the dev team. It was cool to watch the anime movies again. It was sometimes awesome, at the same time, painful to watch the animated series. The dialogue was so bad sometimes. LoL!Still, all my gripes aside, this is one awesome Collector’s set and if you are a hardcore Street Fighter fan, one you should definitely get. 🙂

A brilliant collection of everything street fighter related from this generation. Contains super sf4 arcade disc, sf x tekken disc, a lovely Ryu statue, Ryu’s karate gi, plus artbook and soundtracks discs covering the history of the series. Box is sturdy and strong, overall a great collectible. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that all the dlc codes provided (2 digital game downloads + costumes etc) cannot be redeemed from a UK xbox live account, as this boxset is an American ntsc import. No European pal version was made.I already had the digital stuff beforehand so I wasn’t fussed, but for others this maybe a (understandable) put off. Other than that this boxset is awesome!!!

Overall this is something that I wanted due to the goodies involved. I have yet to check out the films that are included and am wondering if the Blu-ray of the Street Fighter II film is the uncensored Japanese version or the so called uncensored American version which is actually a censored version. Recently I was on the amazon.com site and saw this there for about $30 cheaper and with the exchange rate and shipping it might of been cheaper getting it there. This in my opinion is something for a Street Fighter fan and would recommend it for that and not your average gamer.
