Awesome TV at a good price
Arrived in good shape, quite large box and well protected. Takes 2 people to handle the box as large n heavy. No issues setting up. Picture being OLED is wonderful and such big difference from regular LED technology. Sony quality very high end. Used the optical output audio line for sound and had no issues sounds great. The built in audio system is OK, does the job but isn’t that great as the is designed for using an external sound system. Frame is thin so does not waste any valuable wall space. Viewing angles are good. When on picture has minimal glare n reflections but when off the screen does reflect a lot of window sourced light. So far enjoying this serious upgrade from regular TV technology. After several attempts at purchasing direct from Sony I found Amazon was without doubt the best supplier as many other vendors use some very lame contractors. Very happy with this purchase.

The best looking TV I’ve literally ever seen
Wow. It’s really gorgeous. I was debating between this one and another Sony oled that was about $600 more. I can say there’s no way the other one is worth the extra money. This one really is insanely nice. The picture is almost trippy how clear and colorful it is. I’ve been playing Cyberpunk on it and it’s beautiful. The software is the best I’ve used that’s built into a tv. It’s not perfectly intuitive but it’s the best one I’ve used. It’s also by far the most responsive. The remote is better than passable and it does 4k 120hz on two of the HDMI ports so I have my gaming pc plugged into it and I just had to get a better hdmi cable to actually do it. It also has variable refresh rate which has also been great. If you’re looking for an oled I really believe this is the best one. Sony really does make some solid TVs.

Best all-around TV mid-range cost. Great connectivity and picture.
Bought this to replace my earlier 55″ Bravia, since that one was going to my mother to replace her less old Samsung which started having non-working pixel-lines on the bottom; (there was nothing wrong with my 55″ Bravia, even though it was 4 years old). This 65″ has superior glass, is very thin and lighter weight than you’d expect (I was able to lift it to the stand myself) and hooked up easily with Alexa. It connects “Smartly” with the Playstation and even with my Nakamichi Dragon sound system. I also like that it dims the screen when it detects that the video is paused (non-moving) so as to prevent any burn-in just like the 55″ I had (never got any burnin at all for OLED on that even though I would pause some TV for longer than 30 minutes for various reasons). Finally, it has a very low lag for gaming with the Playstation, so it’s great for that too.

Sony 55 Inch OLED 4K Ultra HD TV BRAVIA XR8B Smart Google TV.
To begin with, this TV took the place of our 10-year-old Sony 49” TV, which was still working. We decided to upgrade and go to a larger screen. The TV was shipped to us very quickly. The setup was very straightforward; don’t rush it like I did and pick the wrong service. I use an Amazon Fire TV Stick with the DirecTV streaming service. When you start, it automatically directs you to the Google homepage. In the option, you can have the TV start on the HDMI that Firefox or Roku is on, and it will start up on that HDMI input. When I tuned into my first football game, I was blown away. The picture quality is truly amazing, with rich colors and sharp images. I never needed to adjust the color; it was spot on. We have always purchased Sony TVs, and this Sony is by far the best one we have ever had for picture quality. I will end this with just one word. AWESOME!!!!!

Near Perfect for Films and Games
This is the first OLED TV I’ve purchased and WOW I didn’t realize just how much better it looks compared to a regular 4K LED. The colors are great, but some of the AI upscaling and motion smoothing options make the image look much worse in my opinion. The only upscaling feature I would use would be Reality Creation, as it does a very good job of upscaling the image while leaving minimal artifacts behind (I would assume it’s some version of PSSR on the TV itself). For gamers, the latency rivals monitors and the VRR/120hz modes make gaming on the big screen better than it’s ever been before. I wouldn’t recommend this to those who have brightly lit living rooms, as the screen is fairly glossy and harder to see in direct sunlight. But for everyone else this is just about the nicest TV you will find for around $1,000 and I can confidently recommend this to anyone who does not already have an OLED display.

    Great TV
Love this TV. I had a 55″ LG C8 prior to this and I like the Google interface better than WebOS. The picture is great, easy to adjust and I’m not even using my Bose soundbar so far because the sound is very good from the TV speakers. I had tried a TCL QM6K which had great reviews but after having an OLED, I really don’t think you’ll be happy with anything else. I wasn’t. I saw other reviewers complain about the remote not being “substantial” but I like the smaller, streamlined remote. Some Sony TV’s come with a USB chargeable backlit remote and I ordered a dupe for $22 and love that too.

    Very satisfied.
Very nice picture. Easy to set up and use. Best TV I’ve ever had. It was not too heavy or difficult to mount. Have had it for 2 months with no problems at all yet.
