I’m Real but My Name is Not –
Really nicely made grill. Packing and assembly instructions are almost as good.
Well designed and manufactured grill. The stainless steel looks great and there’s a broad expanse of grill space to do your magic on.I’ve just assembled and tested function, but I cannot comment on the actual cooking function at this point.A couple of things I noted during un-packing and assembly:– Instructions are mostly pictographs. There are one or two spots where some written guidance would have been helpful, but you will get some of that here.– Multiple models are covered in the assembly instructions. Pay close attention to which model you are assembling and bypass the steps that do not apply.– Parts are in several bags all in different spots within the crate. This is likely due to the multiple models sharing some but not all parts. Few if any of the parts are labeled. It took a bit of looking around to find each part.– Door hinge pins are spring loaded. Here’s where I mistook the pictorial instruction to think I was supposed to pry the mounting plate up but no! Simply depress the pin (putty knife works well) and pop it in place. This error started a long series of misadventures that wasted about a half an hour.– 3/8″ bolts are 99% of the fasteners. Grab a 3/8″ nut driver, socket, and probably a combo wrench and you will get most of this together with those.– Other tools used included a wire cutter for a zip tie, a mallet for seating the wheels, Philips screwdriver, putty knife, box cutter, pliers. Also bring over your recycle bin as there will be a TON of cardboard to fill it.– Helper needed for lifting the main grill body onto the stand. This is a tricky maneuver even then with placement needing to get everything lined up.– Thread the wire for the side burner so you’ve got the maximum length available to reach the connection.– Wing nuts on bottle opener! One of the last things to install is the mandatory bottle opener that is required on all outdoor equipment. For some reason the manufacturer opted for wing nuts for the two bolts that are under the front edge where turning them by hand is challenging and visualizing them is impossible. Would have been a lot easer if these could have been tightened with a ratchet.– The internal surfaces do discolor a bit with the 30 minute “burn-off” the instructions recommend. Grill gets plenty hot, and the thermometer reacts quickly.– Side burner control is not in the most logical spot. It’s in between two of the main grill’s controls, and uses a different ignition process. Works fine, just a bit getting used to.Honestly, this is a lot more than I thought I would spend on a grill, but my prior one made me appreciate that quality is worth it.

Great grill, assemble it yourself if you want it done right.
This grill has been great so far. The build quality is was you should expect at this price point. It heats up quickly and is accurate. I would definitely recommend this grill to anyone looking to purchase one at this price point. My only negative is not about the grill, but about Amazon’s delivery team who also assembled it. They clearly did not know what they were doing, and even admitted they had never put a Napoleon grill together before. I had to go back step by step and fix a lot of things they did not put together correctly, or neglected to do at all.

Nice grill
Nice grill. Works well. The side shelf with the infrared burner is great but could use an extra fastener for stabilization. I may add one.

Napoleon 525 Rogue Pro grill – 5 star, Napoleon Customer Service – 0 star.
Grill is 5 star. Napoleon customer service is 0 star. Let me explain.I purchased the wrong grill from Amazon. I purchased a natural gas version instead of the propane version I had intended. I didn’t discover the error until the grill was already assembled, and the box and packing materials was thrown away, so I couldn’t ask Amazon to take it back.Normally, this isn’t a huge problem. I just needed a conversion kit to change the grill from natural gas to propane – right ? So I did some searching online, and I could not find a conversion kit for this specific grill. So I called Napoleon customer service and explained my problem to them, and asked them for a conversion kit to propane. They said there were no conversion kits for this grill. Now I know that they make a propane version of this exact same grill. So I ask them just to sell me the orifices, and pressure regulator for the propane version. Nope – they won’t do it. So I asked them if an authorized service center could order the parts, and perform the conversion. That way, Napoleon is off the hook, so to speak, if I screw up the installation. Nope – they won’t do that either. So I try buying the parts online through companies that sell Napoleon parts. Nope – Napoleon wants the model number and serial number of the grill to sell these parts, and since my grill is a natural gas version, they won’t sell ANYONE a part that is not specifically for the model and serial number of the grill you have. So I call a Napoleon grill dealer, explain the situation, and ask if they can help. While the dealers were sympathetic, they could not get Napoleon to budge either.Just about at the end of the line, I take the grill apart, and remove the orifices (4 main burners and 1 side burner). There is nothing special about the main burner orifices. The threads are M6 x 0.75mm, and the threaded portion is 8mm long. So I order a generic orifice from Amazon shown below.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8CXY616?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleWhile the hex portion of these orifices are 7mm instead of 10mm for Napoleon, they screw in the gas manifold perfectly. Of course, I had to redrill the orifices to the proper diameter of 0.038″ for my 12000 BTU main burners. After installation, these work perfectly.I also had to purchase a Napoleon side burner orifice (part number N455-0109), and a Napoleon propane pressure regulator (part number S85001) to complete the conversion. All of this pain, heartache, and grief could have been avoided if Napoleon had worked with me, or a service center to fix my problem, but no, they wanted no part of that. Here are my final words. The grill looks great. It appears to be well built, and was easy to assemble. It was packed well, and there was no damage on arrival. I used it once this weekend, and it works great. Grill – 5 stars so far.Napoleon customer service – 0 stars. No help whatsoever.Note. Sorry about all the “So’s”, it was a long story.

Came in dented with a door that barely closes. Seems flimsy overall as well.
Arrived dented, doors are completely misaligned. One is scraping the bottom and the hinge for the door is off center. Terrible quality. Very disappointed. Taking it apart and trying to factory packet is just not feasible. Basically I have to eat the cost and purchase a new one from another manufacturer.

Very Bad Assembly Instructions
Great Grill! However, I have never seen assembly directions as bad as what comes with this Grill. Confusing, bad diagrams, not every part supplied is in the directions as to be used. Very, Very Poor.

The Rogue 625 5-Burner BBQ has completely transformed our grilling game! It heats up quickly and evenly, and the burners provide excellent temperature control across the entire surface. The large cooking area is perfect for hosting—we’ve easily grilled for a crowd without juggling space. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the sleek design looks amazing on our patio. I also appreciate the side burner for sauces and sides. From steaks to veggies to slow-cooked ribs, everything comes out perfectly. If you love to grill and want something that performs as good as it looks, this BBQ is worth every penny.

Happy with the grill. I got the cast iron grates because they retain more heat. Had a minor issue with a cabinet door and Napoleon Service looked after it! Can’t say enough about the BBQ and Customer Service. Definitely recommend the grill!

Panels damaged, I would like a partial refund for the 4 damaged panels. The damage was only discovered when we were putting together for our event and there wasn’t enough time to order a new one.
