Perfect Scents delivered Beautifully!
My sister-in-law and I have a gift agreement: just choose a Maison Louis Marie candle for me, and I’ll choose one for you. It is lit daily in my house, and no other candle comes close to smelling so divine, yet not overpowering. I will not choose another brand, ever. The colors of the glass are beautiful, which to me is a bonus. I light a candle for the scent, and want one that lasts, burns a long time, and gives me all I need.

I purchased this after a suggestion off you tube. The candle is nicely packaged, came wrapped safely. No 4 scent is very very very subtle. It burns beautifully so far but I may move into a smaller room to see if I can capture the 38.00 scent I paid for. I like scented candles that don’t overpower but this one is a little too shy for me. Fragrances are difficult to purchase online and I may give it one more try with that understanding. The quality is there for sure and if my budget was not lacking I would definitley try for some other scents.

No scent!
I was pretty disappointed by this candle. While opening the package, I was able to smell the candle before I even had it unwrapped so I had high hopes. However, as soon as I lit the candle I was no longer getting any scent from it.I tried placing this candle in multiple smaller rooms to see if that helped to no avail. My husband even put his face directly in front of it and tried to waft the air to try to smell it and still said he couldn’t smell it at all.It’s a very pretty candle, but way too expensive for not having any scent and being so small.

Fall scent but soft enough for year round
I purchased Maison Louis Marie – No.04 Bois de Balincourt which was recommended by a YouTuber that I follow. It’s a fall scent but it’s soft enough to be year round. It’s an elegant scent, not too woodsy. The throw is decent but I’d prefer to get a second one for my 1700sqft home. I’ve smelt this scent before in other candles but they always gave me headaches. The burn is even and has yet to develop an indention. Great price point for such a high end candle. Hoping to make it our signature scent in our home; though I’m tempted to try to lemon scented one. Worth it for the vibe, just choose scent wisely
No. 2 Le Long Fond smells very light and airy but it’s too synthetic. I can get the hinoki wood but it’s just so chemical. The best scents in my opinion are the No. 4 Bois de Balincourt. Smells like Santal. Very luxurious sweet woodsy summer scent. No complaints. No. 3 L’Etang Noir smells very vanilla tonka bean perfect for cooler weather but with a hint of cat pee. It is really nice if you can ignore the cat pee undertones. All of the candles fill the room with scent very well, though. Excellent filling capacity. The scents are sophisticated and smell very luxurious. For some of them you can even smell it from a couple feet away when it’s not lit. Not like bath and body works/marshalls candles at all, which is great. The size is small for what you get, but I would definitely pay for this again when it goes on sale. Packaging is elegant. For those looking for a more upscale vibe, I think it’s worth the money moreso than other luxury brands.

So-so for various reasons
Nothing was really too wrong with this but it still fell short. Upon unboxing, the candle smelled just as promised and I was excited to use it. After just one session of burning, the smell almost completely faded away — it surprised me as I didn’t know candles could do that? I got the No. 4 Bois de Balincourt due to a massive amount of reviews recommending this scent but I will probably not buy it again and go with my initial preference.Oh, even though they bubble wrapped the item, the box still got slightly damaged during shipping. I think it might be due to the type of paper used as a finishing on the box, so if you’re thinking of this as a gift for someone else, just know that the exterior will most likely be compromised.

I am always a fan of this brand but this candle is close to no scent not sure whether it’s because it is a really really old n expired candle. The box is tattered as you can see from the images. It’s barely holding it together
