I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Mela B3 UV Daily Sunscreen for a while now, and overall, I really like it. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and doesn’t leave a white cast—which is a huge plus for daily wear. It layers well under makeup and feels comfortable on the skin.I’m currently using a few different products to target dark spots, so I can’t say for sure if this sunscreen alone is making a big difference. But I do appreciate the inclusion of niacinamide, which is known to help with oil control and hyperpigmentation. The formula also includes Melasyl, which is a nice bonus for anti-aging and sun damage protection.One thing to note: I couldn’t use this after a chemical peel—mineral sunscreens tend to be better for post-procedure sensitivity. But for regular use, this chemical sunscreen has been great.If you’re looking for a daily SPF that protects and supports your skin without feeling heavy or greasy, this is a solid choice. Just be mindful if your skin is extra sensitive or recovering from treatments.

Excellent brand
I mostly use all La Roche-Posay. Great quality and value. This new sunscreen was “prescribed” by my Dermatologist (who first put me on to the brand). It goes on smoothly – you don’t need much – and is so light, you don’t even feel it.I also use the Mela B3 serum, per my derm.

Good stuff.
Like: It doesn’t leave a white or any other color cast. It improves the look of the skin. I am dark skinned and this blends in smoothly with my skin color.Dislike: As some other people have mentioned, it does pile. I only use a toner, serum (mela b3), and no make up, but this gets a piling effects. I thought it was just me till I saw other reviews.Be careful while applying around your eyes as it stings even if the tiniest amount gets in.I like the overall look it gives and would buy it again.

Skin saver
My dermatologist actually recommended this for a few sun damage spots on my face and a brown spot on my cheek that I’ve had for years. I used it twice a day at first and within a week the brown spot on my cheek faded..the sun damage areas have gotten better too. I use just a bit on the areas needed and done. When I went to my regular dr , I took the product with me and told her about it..she was just as excited as I was to see the difference..she took the tube from me to really look at it and read it..my dr was impressed !..I still use it along with my sunscreen and I wait 15 minutes before I go outside to let it absorb into the layers of skin. I live in TX and gotta have help with sun here..THANK YOU !

Excellent product . I have been very impressed with this cream as it certainly appears to have worked well. However, this is unsurprising as it is actually the product of scientific research by a company who are heavily invested in dermatological treatments and contains clinically active compounds unlike some other products purporting to do the same thing
