The quietest, most efficient and well designed fridge I’ve ever had.
The great Amazon employees were on time, respectful of my property and followed my instructions as to what room I wanted my refrigerator in. I set it up in less than an hour…I just had to attach the door handles. Very simple. When I opened up this fridge, I couldn’t believe just how much room it has, especially the freezer! It is very deep, but there is also four drawers of varying depth, so most frozen items are in easy reach. The doors can hold gallon sized containers, as well. I can’t get over how clean and well designed this fridge is. The LED lighting really stands out and there is a status/options screen on the right hand door, so one can program exactly what temperature you want for both the freezer and refrigerator sections. It has a Sabbath mode, a vacation mode, plus more. Lastly, I can stand right next to this major appliance and not hear any noise come from it…no compressor…no fans…no nothing. I wondered if it was working, at all. Twenty minutes in, I opened up the door and it was already at 32 degrees F and counting. No dents from shipping. Great service from the youngsters that hauled it into my kitchen! I am extremely satisfied. This Kenmore refrigerator really surpassed my expectations! No complaints, at all.

    DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!
AWFUL product and even worse support! The least of the issues is that the measurements are off; the product should have fit in the space when measured by the 70″ listed, but there’s a box that stores mechanical parts on top that is listed NOWHERE in the description/manual that makes it a good inch taller. Will need to cut the cabinets above the fridge to get it to fit (buuuut that has not been done yet, because of the crap storm that followed.)Product arrives with no handles for any of the doors. Amazon tells us to contact Sears, because it’s parts and not the entire unit. Sears can order the parts and schedule a service appointment for Nov. 12. The product was ordered/delivered around Sept. 28. At the time, it’s no big deal. Cancel the appointment when we get the parts, we can install them, no problem. Except within the week the refrigeration unit stops working. The freezer still works, but no fridge. We call Sears back. “Well, you already have the appointment, so they’ll take a look when they get there.”We still have not received the handles. The appointment’s still about two weeks out. At the date of the appointment, a tech arrives but we still have no parts. Sears has told him NOTHING about the refrigeration unit; he’s under the impression he’s here for the handle installation. After looking at the unit, jimmy rigs a fan in the back to blow cool air up into the fridge that may keep some things cool but is not a permanent solution/won’t keep the temps food safe. He orders the parts we’ll need to fix it, schedules us for the day after Thanksgiving, and leaves. We have seen no one since. The parts are here, both the handles and the refrigeration bits. We’ve been in contact with Sears MULTIPLE times. They never showed the day after Thanksgiving, despite our receiving confirmation calls, emails, and texts about the appointment. Then they couldn’t come out until the day after Christmas. Same run-around. We get a text the day of the appointment claiming they are overbooked and we need to reschedule. Supposedly they’re coming out 1/16, but I have yet to receive any confirmations and quite honestly don’t trust any of these clowns anymore.Amazon has told us to contact Sears. Sears has told us it’s Amazon’s problem – they should have taken the unit back. But by the time we got to the first appointment, the return window had closed and Amazon refused. “It’s Sears’s problem.” We’ve asked to speak to a supervisor THREE TIMES with Sears and have yet to hear back. In the process of filing a report with Consumer Affairs & Better Business Bureau. I’m still paying for a product that does not work, and we’ve wasted probably hundreds by now in ice we needed to keep things in a cooler when the fridge first went down, food costs for what’s had to be tossed/replaced, and now we’re using a mini fridge a coworker lent us to keep essentials cool. Also noting that on the initial problem? The handles? We were told BY SEARS that apparently the container of handles got lost, so apparently it was decided to be more cost effective to ship about 300 units out WITHOUT HANDLES and just deal with the backlash later. So. A+ business practices, guys. If you received one of these with no handles, that’s why. :)If I could give them lower than one star, I would. Zero stars. Do NOT buy this garbage. At the time, using Amazon seemed the most cost-effective and quickest way to get the unit out. I have learned my lesson. Don’t. Just…don’t.

    Attractive and very quiet.
Arrived undamaged. Very quiet. Works properly. Height is greater than listed as there are hinges and gizmos on top. Had to remove overhead cabinet. Seems well made but drawers seem flimsy. Don’t expect them to hold up 20 years the way my last ones did. Overall, good attractive refrigerator. A bit smaller than expected but it’s just the 2 of us now so it’s plenty big for us.

Avoid the huge mistake we made
Kenmore customer service is all AI now, so beware. Within 5 months of normal use, a known issue with the fan that distributes cold temp caused the entire fridge to stop cooling. We’ve been waiting for this part for 6 weeks now and according to the automated Kenmore agent, the part has been ordered but still hasn’t shipped. Amazon dished us off to Kenmore for support, and even with the original warranty intact we still don’t have a solution. Avoid this fridge in particular and Kenmore generally if you are investing in a new refrigerator. Shame on Amazon for still selling a defective appliance.

Amazing fridge and good price point
This refrigerator is perfect for my space! The fridge offers nice amount of space. The freezer is deep and the ice maker is great! Also, I love that it is fingerprint proof!

Stopped working after 9 month and parts are not available to fix it.
The refrigerator stopped cooling after 9 months. A repair technician came out and determined the condenser fan went bad. They ordered the replacement part and it is back ordered indefinitely. After 6 weeks of back and forth with the warranty department there is still no resolution. They stated 22 days ago that if the issue isn’t resolved within 10 days, they would issue a full refund, but are now refusing to honor their warranty. I am now contacting the Bureau of Consumer Portection Agency to help resolve this illegal act by Kenmore. I have a feeling that I will end up having to hire a lawyer to get this issue resolved. Meanwhile myself, my wife, and my two kids have been living without a working refrigerator for the past 6+ weeks of this nightmare. Kenmore products used to be good until they were bought out a few years ago. I would highly advise never buying a new Kenmore product ever again.
