SAE and Metric!
OK, so I spent way too much time looking at similar tool sets on Amazon. This is the only one that I could find in this price range that includes both SAE and metric sets of hex tools, sockets, and wrenches. You also get two sets of screw drivers, two kinds of pliers, two kinds of wrenches, two sizes of ratchets, and a decently heavy 12oz hammer. Initial impressions are that the quality seems solids, though I haven’t put the tools to use just yet. As other reviews note, the sockets tend to fall out of their slots when the tool set is upright, but pretty much all the cheap tool sets will have this issue, unfortunately.

Good variety of tools with just one flaw.
I bought this specific set of tools because it offered a nice variety, and especially because it has both standard and metric wrenches and sockets in a reasonably compact case. I intend to keep it in my SUV because I travel a lot and I want to be able to make small fixes should the need arise. All the items seems pretty well made, durable, and function as they should. The ratchets, pliers, and crescent wrench all work smoothly. The only drawback to this set, as others have mentioned as well, is that the sockets don’t stay put in their designated spots. In other words, the sockets don’t snap into place like the other tools do. I’m keeping the foam padding that the set comes with, on top of the sockets to try and hold them, but I don’t think that’ll fix the issue. If it weren’t for the loose sockets this would be a 5 star review.

Tools fall out of both sides at once
The tools fall out when you open the box. I used two foam rubber squares and hold it in with Velcro. Working pretty good now.

This tool set has everything you need for a home project. Everything has a “snap in” place in the blow mold. Tools seem sturdy. Good value for the price. Happy with this purchase!
