One of my Favorite Perfumes, Good Seller
The Wearhouse Outlet answered all my questions prior to purchase, and shipped fast and packaged my Diptyque Philosykos well. I was a little doubtful because the fragrance smells very similar to the 1.7oz and tester I got from Nordstrom, but a little off. All the notes are there, but they develop differently. It doesn’t have as much of the coconut heart note, and transforms quickly to the fig and woody base. It is authentic; the batch code matches the bottle, but I question the production date of the perfume. It had to be after 2012 when the bottle changed from square to oval… but then from there, I can’t tell. Either way, the dry down is nice, just wish the heart had developed like my others do.

This is NOT your grandmother’s rose scent
This rose scent is fresh, not powdery at all. It is also not that odd fake sickly rose that smells as if it was manufactured by Dupont to mask the smell of public restrooms. You know that smell. No. This is fresh, floral feminine, and quite beautiful. The weight of the container has some heft to it and feels lux in the hand. It is lovely. I even wear it to bed and I don’t wear perfumes to bed.

I’m someone who doesn’t wear heavy perfumes, and florals most often make me sneeze and tear up.So, I’m very picky. After finding success with the vanilla/spicy Eau Duelle, I took a chance on this one, and I’m happy I did. It feels more “special occasion” to me, and is easy to control in the solid form.
