Good enough
These are pretty good. If you look at the design, you can see that it will give you a close approximation of your toe in. They flex a little bit but if you use the two tapes included it will be within 1/8th

Accurate enough for quick toe adjustments without the rack
We don’t have a digital alignment machine in the shop, so we have to take customer cars down the street. I bought these plates to handle “rough-in” alignments after replacing tie rods or steering racks, just to get the wheels straight enough to drive down there.For a manual tool, they are surprisingly precise. The steel plates are thick and rigid, meaning they don’t flex when you pull the tape measures tight across the underside of the car—flex is usually the killer for accuracy with these DIY methods. The standoff pins are long enough to clear the tire bulge (sidewall), so you are measuring off the rim face as you should. Working really well so far so the tires are barking going down the street.

Way better than other home measurement options, way cheaper than a shop
I previously had tried to do my own toe in alignment on my jeep without these a bought some wood that I used tie downs to connect to my tires but it did not feel precise at all. These work great, and make me confident I’m actually setting the towing right so I don’t mess up my new tires

Be gentle
The parts are powder coated not raw stainless steel, and the parts were magnetic, so they may just be steel but I didn’t want to destroy my set to expose the bare metal just to find out it’s steel. The parts are just over 1/16” thick so about 16ga. They hold their shape pretty well and they came straight. The tape measures are nice and tight and have clear markings. They aren’t a heavy duty tape though, so you will need to hook the end before you try to stretch and measure. Otherwise, they will just fall and kink. The level is convenient but the bubbles are too small for accurate readings between lines. Of the two methods they show, the first method is the only way to get a good alignment reading. Method 2 is supposed to work better for little cars, but the steel extension/hanging bars deflect too easily. Unless you can guarantee they are perfectly straight before hand and have the touch of an angle you will get false readings just due to the fact the parts flex… this would work nicely for a diy truck, or farm equipment that doesn’t get much pavement time (where the tires don’t need to be perfect in order to ride properly and not get shredded…)

Works as expected and gets the job done. The quality feels solid and setup was straightforward. Definitely a useful tool to have on hand if you’re trying to handle things yourself instead of going to a shop. Good value for the price.
