    Great addition and help
I have a plunge router that has a base with large wooden handles that makes it easy to use. Problem was that the router is mounted to my router table and it was a PITA to remove for flat bench work. This base plate with dual handles was a very reasonable price, attached to my second cordless DeWalt router with no issues and provides very effective control of the router. The clear base plate is a plus. RECOMMENDATION – a solid BUY IY

More Stable, More Comfortable Base for my DCW600
This router base installed easily to my DCW600 router using the original 4 phillips head screws. It provides a much larger platform than the OEM base, which lends itself to more stable routing. The two plastic grip handles feel solid and provide greater comfort and control while routing.Note that this base is 1/8″ thicker than the OEM base. In theory, this reduces the max. depth you’re able to route, but I haven’t found this to be an issue in practice. Also, the throat in this base (~1-3/16″ dia., stepped up to ~1-3/8″) is smaller than that of the OEM base (1-1/2″ dia.). I suppose if I ever needed more clearance for a router bit in this base I could route the throat larger.
