    great product
using to eliminate water while painting cars. works perfect

    Clean Dry Air
I have done several projects spraying lacquer finishes with no oil, dirt, or moister problems what ever. I have also re-dried the desiccant beads several times; when they turn pink put them in the microwave til they turn purple again.

    ok, kinda cheesy
Seems to work well so far, only thing I am not happy with is the cheesy, drain valve. Cheap plastic that is loosely held in place. I hope it holds up, but not holding my breath. Overall ok.

    Plastic petcock/drain valve
Most of this filter is made of metal, but the petcock/drain valve is not. I ordered this item, the plastic petcock/drain valve did not close. I had a replacement sent… exact same problem. And it is not replaceable/removable.It seems to be a quality product, so I’m guessing I just had some bad luck with the production group mine came from… but I will never buy this brand again. Who knows what other key components are cheap.

    It does the trick
Gets water out of the line when spraying. Nice solid unit that’s well made. You need connectors of your own, it doesn’t supply them.Replace the dessicant, the one it came with seems to go pink too fast.

    Solid
I had my suspicions about Campbell Hausfeld. I usually think of their components as lower tier, but I needed a combo dryer, and this one at least is a a name brand. The unit feels solid, and I mounted it up quickly. I’ve gone through one bag of beads, and have another that it came with along with a huge bottle I bought. After a few months of random home garage use it seems to be holding up well.

Junk. Plastic drain makes it unusable. Don’t buy it.
Like many others, I found the entire unit to be fine except for the cheap plastic drain. I have two of these and both have the faulty drain. Unfortunately I waited too long to install it and it’s outside the return area.Product is unusable as drain leaks air, leaving your compressor running and you lose pressure. Do not buy.

    satisfied
showed up quickly, works as it should.would buy again

Bought this setup for painting my car at home. Worked great. I also purchased a $37 CH moisture trap filter and ran it ahead of these two. You could run a second moisture trap depending on humidity.I painted my car last weekend over The September long weekend. It was overcast and 25C. Not sure on humidity. I painted for a couple hours, 3 doors and two quarter panels. By the end of it all my desiccant beads were pretty much done. They had gone pink anyway. But considering it’s probably about $5-10 worth of dessicsnt beads that you can purchase it’s not a big deal to change them out.Maybe if you have a professional shop you’ll want something higher line with less maintenance(like the ones where I work). But for the odd job at home or even a small shop, if you don’t mind getting a container of dessicant beads and changing them out every car you do, these are great.Note: some may complain it only lasted 15 minutes. This is only part of a good air drying system. Without a moisture trap filter to remove the bulk of the water from your lines, obviously you’ll kill the dessicant filter.Another note: you don’t need this filter or at least a dessicant filter for general shop tools. Dessicant filters help remove moisture for things like painting. If you’re just running this in a shop for tools you’ll be burning through dessicant beads for no reason.

Funciona bien, reservorios de plástico frágil, aun así funcionan bien hasta el momento, 3 semanas de uso a la fecha.

Works well with my 60 gallon compressor

Works well. I put it in my home shop, rebuilding / restoring cars. I run a pipe water trap first, then an air / oil separator, then to this filter. Before I put this filter in, I was still getting a fair amount of water in my air tools. Now, nothing. I have no idea how long the beads last, they turned from blue to orange pretty quick, but there was a lot of moisture. I’ve been using it for a few days now, everyday all day. No issues. I also bought a few pounds worth of the beads to replace it. I used it to paint with yesterday, and absolutely no issues at all. For a home shop with just myself, I’m happy. Might even be handy to use two of them in a row for the price.
