Held Up to Daily Use Over A Breezy, Very Sunny Summer
We ordered the 9′ California Aluminum Market Umbrella for a large family gathering. In my only complaint, it arrived after the fact, many days after its promised delivery. But once received, it’s been great. It’s quite sizable, throwing a good shadow on hot summer days. It’s very attractive, and the blue Sunbrella fabric looks rich. Zero sign of fading after several months in the sun! It cranks up and down very easily, but you do have to duck your head at the very end of its closing. Very pleased. Given the umbrella’s spread when open, I’d caution that you need a weighty base to hold it upright. It quickly blew over on its side (with no damage) with a light-weight base we initially used. But that’s an issue with the base, not the umbrella.

This product is junk.
Extremely poorly constructed. I bought one the first time only to have it tipped over from wind that wasn’t even that bad. So much for the vents that are supposed to work so well “ featuring a built in wind vent.” The aluminum arms snapped. So I put it in the garage and a few months later I bought another one only to have the same thing happen. Trying to get a hold of Amazon to rectify the situation or the company that made them has been quite an ordeal. They want me to take pictures and download them, etc… and what they don’t realize is people are just too busy for that and nor should they have to go to that trouble when the bottom line is these are basically junk. The worst part is thousands of them will end up in landfills. They need to take responsibility for their poorly constructed product. I should’ve read all the reviews because there are several just like mine. It would have saved me a lot of trouble and a lot of money and time. I should have sent the first one back immediately and I should’ve never bought the second one.

A beautiful umbrella. It does take some strength to crank into tilt position but is easier than umbrellas we had with the push button tilt. It looks great and doesn’t allow the sun’s rays to penetrate. Love it!

I’m picky when I buy things because I want them to last a long time. After looking for a replacement umbrella after like 15 years, I settled on this one. Super happy with the quality as well as the colour. It compliments the colour of the pool liner too.

Product seems to be of good quality. Decent fabric, hope it lasts uv rays.
