    Worth the price!
My kiddo loves these so much that this is our second set we bought. Magnets are strong enough for him to build a tower but not so strong that he struggles to pull them apart. I am weary of small magnets since my kids love to put stuff in their mouth, but the magnets are well contained in the cube. They so far are indestructible, which as a mom of 2 boys, I appreciate. They seem to pair well with other magnet toys, like magnetic tiles, or other magnet blocks. I love how clear and vivid the colors are. My boys enjoyed them at the ages of 1.5 and still are playing with them at the age of 5 right now. They are great for creative play, from roads to robots, towers to houses. The only downside which I won’t take a star off for because they still are great is the new bag they come with. Our first set had a high quality cotton style fabric bag but our second set has a cheap fabric bag that feels like it will not hold up for very long. Both bags are pictured, you can clearly see the difference.

    Break open very easily
These are super fun, the color is great, and look great on a light panel/table. However, they break open easy if dropped and the small magnetic beads inside spill out. Would not recommend for a child who still puts things in their mouth.

    Magnetic cubes
These are great! I bought two packs one for each grandchild. They love them! They come with a small traveling sack which is the best. They take them while traveling far in the car, take them in restaurants and play with them at home. They make all sorts of things. It keeps them interested and they are using their imagination. Love to see the things they come up with!

    popular with kids
I bought this toy despite the “D” rating. My kids are 6 and 3 and they fight over this toy. First of all please keep in mind that this is a magnetic toy and not Legos. You can not add blocks to constructions unlimitedly, eventually they will fall down (gravity is real!!). My kids make mainly flat constructions or smaller size robots. They are not bothered that their constructions are fragile. Yes, I would recommend this toy and I just bought a 2nd set because I am sick of the fighting. No, nobody offered me a promotion for my opinion.

    Well Loved in Preschool
We’ve used these, going on two years now (3, 4, and five year olds). They are well loved! They’ve fallen and been thrown, and they’ve never broken. Not sure what happened in those other reviews. The magnet strength is just right for building- not too strong or weak. I wondered if I was paying too much for these, as there are other brands that are cheaper. The answer is “no”. These are worth it.

    Great value
We own the Magna-Qubix set as wellPros: lots more blocks for the priceCons:1. When comparing the two, this set is less sturdy2. Magnets are not as strongThe reason for one less star is because one of the blocks is malformed. See pictureI would give this 5 stars for the price to blocks ratio if we didn’t get one defect block.

Falls apart every time it hits the floor
The problem with this thing is that it’s a TOY, and toys are dropped to the ground regularly. It’s not strongly magnetic, therefore it often breaks up when held and when this stuff hit the ground, one of the cubes breaks apart. The cover opens up, and you have 8 small magnetic balls roaming around the house, which is definitely very dangerous if you have younger kids/pets around, and it’s a problem finding all the parts of a broken cube (and nope, I wasn’t able to find all 8 balls on the two cubes broken so far 10 minutes after opening the box.) I am not a returning guy and do plan to eat this mistake. But it’s not even a magnetic toy, it’s very weakly magnetic that don’t hold up. Out of the many many toys (>100) we buy at Amazon, only one of two that I would not hesitate to return (or throw away.)

    My toddler loves these!
My toddler loves these magnetic blocks! The colors are fun and vibrant, and the magnets are strong but not so strong that they’re hard to pull apart. These would definitely be better for older toddlers or older kids because the blocks are pretty small so they might pose a choking hazard, but overall they’re such a fun toy for the kids!

Little one loves it. Good size for travel toy

  10. Goodygal

Just as described, kids love using them and great for on the go or travelling

2 of the blocks popped open and the magnetic ball bearings came out of the supposedly closed blocks. Very dangerous if I had not been actually watching my grandson could have swallowed them. Not recommended for any age

Not good quality. The magnet is weak and doesn’t hold well.

Item arrived in box with a zip lock bag but the inside box wasn’t sealed. When opened the top few cubes were all floating around and look to have been used, see images. Lots of scratches and some even look like they’ve been wiped over with a damp cloth and the smear mark is left. They will be fun for my toddler but I will be giving them all a decent clean with a disinfectant wipe. Disappointing given the price of these. Definitely should only be used under supervision for little ones too as they would break easily and magnets could fall out/be Ingested
