    Amazing sound quality. Pairs seamlessly.
This Bobtot speaker is incredible for its size. The sound is amazing. I don’t know if it will come through your audio the way it sounds in person but the bass is the perfect amount of depth for a small-ish are like a bathroom (it is waterproof, ya know) and still good even in a bedroom. I have one of the common “helper” speakers that people have when you call her name out but I have a hearing problem that makes understanding talk radio in the shower difficult. The Bobtot not only sounds better in richness but the clarity of people talking is much easier to understand. It doesn’t need to be plugged into the wall so I can use in the shower. When powering on, it has a female voice that tells you it’s on. Connection is a breeze and pairs like any other Bluetooth device. Voice comes on to verify it’s connected. There’s a lanyard included though I would use it to hang in the shower to keep it out of the way. I think the speaker is a little big for the wrist. I can’t get the small part of the lanyard through the tiny hole so I’ll be using a piece of thread to pull it through. No big deal. The Bobtot speaker would make a great gift for anyone. I bought the square Bobtot for a coworker for secret Santa and the next day, she told me she has it in her shower and that it sounds great. So glad I was able to get one for myself.Oh yeah: it has a 12 month warranty and lifetime support so there’s that.

It’s decent. Control buttons being on the bottom is not a great design choice.
For some reason I expected to be much more impressed with this than I was. I’ve had more than a few bluetooth speakers over the years. They can be incredibly handy, especially if you want to have your music loud enough to hear in a large space. The features of this I like are that it’s waterproof and if you have 2, they can be put in stereo mode. I love that idea. You can really create a soundscape with the right music. Now for the rest – The sound wasn’t impressive to me. I didn’t really detect any decent bass. It might have been the music I was playing. I didn’t think it was as loud as it could have been either, but for the price it was fine. The other issue I had was all of the controls being on the bottom. Many brands put the control buttons in a very easy to get to location on the top or side. This puts them on the bottom, which can be kind of a pain considering the phone button and the volume buttons are located there. So overall for the price for a simple speaker it’s fine, and being waterproof is a huge plus. I feel like they should just charge a bit more and sell these as a pair. If I had a pair I could set up for the stereo function, I might feel differently. I might even forgive the unimpressive bass.

Checks lots of right boxes, one minor set back
This speaker is very nice. Even though it’s small and lightweight, it can push a lot of sound! The top is perforated with holes whereas the back side has a small bass. The speaker also comes with a little rope to tie around the speaker for easier carry. The speaker is also waterproof rated, though I haven’t tested it in an see that all the plugs are protected with a rubber cover, consistent with my other waterproof devices. The speaker also supports TWS, which if you have two you can connect together and play from the same source device. My only issue is that the speaker has the treble overturned by a notch or two, making some upper spectrum sounding a bit harsh at times. I don’t mind it since I like to crank up the equalizer in the treble side anyway, but even for me it’s just a tad much.Overall, a solid little Bluetooth speaker. It looks nice, it sounds decent in clarity, bass, and treble, and it’s waterproof. It checks a lot of boxes and for a good price too, highly recommended.

    Great little travel speaker
This is a fun little speaker, very portable, fits in my purse to use with my iPhone or iPad. It’s not going to pump out enough sound for a big party, but it gets plenty loud for individual use or use in small groups. It’s only about the size of two Chobani yogurt containers, for reference. I found it very easy to link up with my iPad, which allows me to set up the iPad somewhere I’m working – like my kitchen – and move around the room without the sound becoming too low. It also works great with my iPhone. Be aware, though, that if you use it on two or more devices, you have to disconnect the one you used last before you connect to a different device. Go to Bluetooth, click on the device you don’t want it connected to, and click Disconnect. Then it will connect with the other device. You can do that as often as you like; it doesn’t pair with just one device. I’m very pleased with this speaker. I actually now have three Bobtot Bluetooth speakers, and I like them all. They are different sizes with different capabilities, but all work simply and provide all the sound I need.

For such a small speaker this is pretty important, it delivers loud clearsterio sound and has 24 hour battery playtime. It’s waterproof designed is perfect for outside and at the beach. It’s strap is convenient for carrying and hanging. It fits into my toat bag. It has hands free calling with great sound . Love it

And I was surprised at how good it is.What you get – The speaker and a USB C to USB A charging cable. The cable is extremely short and is really of little use, but as it is generic you can use any other cable you might have.It is the shape of a pepper shaker, with the speaker grill on the top. At the back you have an exposed diaphragm that vibrates in use and the charging socket.Underneath is the power button, backwards and forwards buttons and a phone button. On powering on there is the required Power On prompt, and Power Off.I tested it using an Android phone with Dolby Atmos app. It connects with Bluetooth easily and the battery level is displayed on the connection tab.The Atmos app finds the speaker, identifies it by name and manages the sound settings. And the sound for both speech and music is excellent.Bass is excellent and the treble is clear based on how small it is.I refer to it as personal due to its size. It works well close and also in certain rooms, but it is not a party or outdoors speaker as it doesn’t have the output. The volume is good when used close up, it is controlled by the phone volume buttons, it can be too loud based on where you are and I did have to turn it down. The buttons on the bottom – other than the power – weren’t of any use to me. Scroll left/right is managed on your phone and the phone option allows it to act like a speaker phone. The caller couldn’t hear me, which seems a bit pointless as only you can hear the caller. I didn’t persist with the feature as I wouldn’t use it.Overall – an excellent budget speaker that delivers far more if you carry it around with you as you move with you than I would have expected.

This is a compact, lightweight little speaker that’s easy to move around the house or take out and about. It comes with a detachable lanyard, which is handy for hanging it on a hook, bag, or just carrying it between rooms. The lightweight build makes placement effortless, whether it’s on a desk, bedside table, or in the kitchen. The control buttons are located on the base of the unit. They’re clearly marked, easy to find by touch, and responsive in use. Pairing was straightforward: a long press of the power button puts the speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a pulsing blue light. From there, it showed up as “Bobtot Q91” in my phone’s Bluetooth settings and connected quickly using the SBC codec. The connection was stable in my testing with no dropouts around the home. For such a small speaker, the volume is surprisingly decent. At full volume, it’s loud enough for personal listening or filling a small room, and I didn’t notice any obvious distortion, which is impressive at this size and price point. That said, the sound signature is quite basic. The bass response is weak, so the sound relies mainly on the mids and highs. Vocals and instruments come through cleanly, but the presentation is quite one-dimensional and very mono-sounding. It’s fine for podcasts, background music, or casual listening, but audiophiles will find it lacking depth and low-end punch. One nice feature is the option to pair a second Q91 using the TWS function. Adding another unit should widen the soundstage and improve the overall listening experience, which could make a noticeable difference if you’re using it for music rather than just spoken content.Overall, this is a good budget-friendly, ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker for everyday use. It’s easy to carry, simple to set up, loud enough for small spaces, and practical for travel or casual home listening, and has good battery life. Just don’t expect big bass or rich stereo from a single unit — it’s best seen as a convenient, no-fuss speaker rather than a serious audio upgrade.

I was really rooting for this little speaker, but even 3 stars is stretching it.It looks nice, pairs easily and is pretty intuitive to operate. Unfortunately the sound is not very musical at all. There are speakers around this size from the likes of JBL and Ultimate Ears that really show what clever sound engineers can achieve in a tiny space, although the price is a lot higher. I was hoping this would manage to employ some of those tricks but it really doesn’t.It has a single 2″ 5w driver, firing straight up. There is a passive radiator on the back which had raised my hopes that there was some clever design going on to enhance the bass, but sadly it seems that it’s just a gimmick. The sound is fine for podcasts or similar, or perhaps very gentle background music where sound quality is irrelevant, but that’s about it. $30 is not a lot to pay, but I suspect that if you keep looking you’ll be able to find some alternatives around that price with better reviews for sound quality.
