Very pleased with this charger.
I recently purchased a Hyundai ionic five EV that came with the NACS charging port. This is the same as the Tesla. I had this charger installed using the plug which allows me to go up to 40 amp. The Chargers also capable of being hardwired and getting 50 amp, but the difference of a few miles per hour of charge was not worth it and this allows me to unplug and take the charger with me if I want to.It comes with all the mounting hardware instructions, a booklet multiple activator cards if you want those and has a really nice app that you can use to manage it. I don’t use the cards or the app much because my Hyundai app lets me schedule my charge start the charge Set plug-in charge, etc. but I can use the app to view additional details that my Hyundai app doesn’t give me.Overall love the fit, finish quality and heavy duty feel of the cabling. Connector is very nice. Fits perfectly in my car and because it supports Tesla and future proofs my garage for a Tesla if I decide to trade my ionic in three years.Excellent display when charging showing current amperage, it has the ability to be set to provide whatever app range you want without popping open the display and adjusting any kind of switches or knobs. It’s all controlled with the app.Great charger and at the time I bought this, it had a pretty good discount as well so watch for that

Does not work out of box.
Issues abound as regards it’s connectivity, will not connect to my wifi will not connect to my bluetooth. Spent (literally) over an hour going back and forth with their tech support (no US phone number, email only, to china). Videos were exchanged, screen shots were exchanged, over 25 emails, with no result. I was just told over and over to do what I was already doing. Trying manually reset results in it repeatedly telling you to reset although it was according to the charger… (Iphone 16, up to date software)

It’ll should also be on a 60A breaker if you want to utilize the 50A abilities.Overall, this is a very inclusive, higher quality and great performing set-up that I highly recommend to any Tesla owner. More than a convenience ,a necessity and it works better than expected !
we are a two tesla family ,a model S and a model Y so we this is an absolute necessity for us ,I showed a small portion of the app because any other pics may potentially give some personal information which I would rather avoid ,the charger comes with everything necessary to mount or you can use a NEMA and avoid hardwiring due to the constant use we chose to hardwire and had an electrician do the job ,that’s just not the kind of thing I’m comfortable with even attempting to do ,the screen is a fantastic option that shows you every variable you need to see and more ,the cord is longer then needed and comes with a place to wrap it up and a place to secure the charger , be advised the app works via wifi but can be linked to your phones hotspot in the unlikely event that you have connectivity issues in your garage or in front of your house ,I mention this because that is unfortunately my scenario,the unit is well made of what appears to be nice high quality materials and is not an eyesore when mounted on the wall but it does take up quite a bit of space so be prepared to allow a 20″ x20″ area when mounting ,this provides my family with opportunity of waking up with both cars every morning at 100 % without fail ,in my opinion an absolute necessity and reasonably priced all things considered
