It works best with thick or curly hair. It doesn’t stay in place with fine or straight hair.

It’s because I have thin fine hair but it slips out, even in a ponytail. They are prettier than a bar barrette though.

They seem like they are great, however I did not pay attention close I searched for a side clip not barrette. But I now have a whole bunch of barrettes for my neices.

They need a true lighter shade.
Color is not true. Ordered the package that had lightest shade included to try to go with blonde hair. It was not anywhere near a Blonde shade. It was more of a medium mushroom tone. Very disappointing. You need thick hair for these.
