Pretty much perfect right out of the box!
I was one of the lucky ones and got a perfect monitor right out of the box. Set up was a breeze. I only had to buy one new cable for it. I have this thing connected to two machines, a PC and a Mac Studio. I had to buy a new DP to Thunderbolt cable for it to work at 144Hz since my Mac Studio is old. But it was a small price to pay to not have two giant monitors on my desk anymore. It feels so liberating and looks so much cleaner! I opted for this model because I wanted to stay clear of all the bloatware. I had originally planned to get the 57″ model, but that curve was way too out of control for my taste. Not to mention the blacks on this monitor are spectacular! People that complain about color accuracy need to suck it up and get a monitor calibrater. With a few minutes of tweaking this thing is perfectly fine for all the photo editing and graphics work that I do for a living. The only thing I find weird about this monitor is the pixel shifting it does I’m assuming its an OLED burn in thing? I sit in front of this thing about 12 hours a day and I notice it doing it a few times a day. Another things that I feel compelled to complain about (since this is a product review) is the power cable is a bit short. The brick hangs about 4 inches shy of the floor. An extra 6 inches would have helped!

    Amazing monitor no complaints !!
Love it! Crystal clear perfect for work I can increase the font and not lose any real state on the monitor like a phone would. My only issue is I wish I did this sooner! My first OLED monitor and it’s awesome.

    Great monitor
Works great, using it for work and gaming. This is a great monitor for doing both. Can even set it up for dual monitor mode on the same screen. So one side goes full monitor and the other side stays normal with discord or chat and stream. This also works great for screen resizing.

    Fantastic monitor!
I love this monitor, it has high contrast and gives you a huge workspace for work or gaming. Setup is a breeze, and it is easy to use.

    Excellent monitor.
Beautiful image. Desktop space ends up to be about 2 and half monitors. Easy set up. Kinda heavy but not bad.

Use a static discharge desk mat to avoid monitors shutting off from static touch off of your hands
All 3 of my Samsung Monitors are VERY sensitive to static discharge from your hands should you simply bump the monitors bezel with your hand it will shut off. It can take 10 minutes or longer of unplugging and replugging the monitors into the USB/HDMI/DP ports/monitors to get them to acquire the display signal again.

    Beautiful unit and image quality
Fantastic unit. First OLED and first 49” unit. Used for work and gaming with a 34” Dell unit as well. Extremely bright, super clean image, colors are excellent and build quality seems very stout. I hate the menu control nob, very unresponsive and placed poorly, but other than that, I’m very happy.

    BEWARE THERMAL CRACKING
Monitor was fine for the 7 months I had it. Then, I upgraded my desk and to take this off my mount temporarily to change my mount over to new desk.My apartment was freezing because I’m in FL with no heat in apartment, so my monitor cooled down as I was setting up new desk.I plugged in my monitor after setting up, which made it warm again, and nothing turned on. Black screen, complete dark even though it was receiving power. Troublshot everything you can think of. Then when it got dark in the room, I noticed streaks behind the screen on the right side.Come to find out that Samsung has a history of Thermal Cracking, when going from one temp to another.I’m trying to go through their 3 year warranty right now, but I already have little to no hope as I know they are going to deem this as a physical problem and not terrible manufacturing on their part (based on experiences I see people saying).Waste of money.
