Leather doesn’t feel thin and cheap and the pages seem to be of a high quality paper. Easy close and open doesn’t fold up on you while you’re writing.

This isn’t genuine real leather, but nevertheless, It’s still a very nice “leather” journal. Like how buttery smooth the outside is. The paper is paper, with that yellowish hue to it which gives it more of an older look. For the price, it’s a fantastic journal. Definitely would recommend if you are into older, more esthetic looks and feel.
