This chandelier is beautiful, as many have noted. This chandelier has many parts and takes patience to construct, as many have also noted. Once completed and hung successfully I think you will be pleased.We hung it from a 9 foot ceiling, about 3 feet from said ceiling. Initially we hung it at about 4 feet from the floor, so as to be able to stand upright and add all the glass pieces. We were not willing to try and attach the pieces from a ladder, which would not only be a little unsafe but cumbersome as well. It took two of us to raise the chandelier to the height we desired, a little at a time from one side to the other. We were shocked that all that metal guide wire(s) fit within the ceiling mounted canopy, then even more so when the electrical cord had to be pushed up into it; but it all did!The instructions were better than most foreign to English interpretation, but one could still run into a translation issue as we did. For the record, when you slide up the electrical cord into the canopy you will need a 3.0mm flat head screwdriver to accomplish this (it is a very small opening slot and thank goodness we had one).As another reviewer stated, test out the light bulb slots before assembly to make sure they all work properly (ours did). They also recommended purchasing some tiny plastic washers/spacers to place between each pane of glass and the nut, which I did do. However, the package contents ended up having these plastic washers/spacers included. I don’t know if at the time of her review and recommendations they were not provided, but they were with our purchase.

ad picture proportion is not actual proportion of light
like most lights on amazon the picture proportions are totally different than the real life light. The size is as described. the pieces are annoying to install and it is difficult to get the light level. I think it looks okay and is in line with the price . Does this look like a 2000 $ light, no. Is it better than a builder grade light? yes.

Great semi-flush mount option
I have a 9′ ceiling & wanted a chandelier but it needed to mount as a semi-flush mount to not hang below 7′. My 1st light I bought hung too low. This one kept grabbing my attention when I was searching for a gold & glass chandelier. I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. It looks like it cost way more than it did! It is unique & beautiful (day or night).I am a handy, 64 year old female. I was able to hang it myself, without help. However, it took a long time to hang to get the 3 cables evenly spaced & to determine the right height to hang it. I had to adjust my cables twice. The light is quite heavy with all the glass installed so make sure your junction box is secure & that you have enough length on your mounting screws. It comes with 2 sizes of mounting screws. I also recommend you check the light sockets to make sure all the light bulbs screw in without issue before you add all the glass pieces. The light also comes with 1 extra piece of glass for both sizes and a few extra gold nuts and bolts.You can hang this light to about 6-7″ from the ceiling if you need it semi-flush mounted for clearance. With my 9′ ceiling, I hung mine to 10″ from ceiling to the 1st gold ring. My clearance after the glass was installed is 7’3″.One thing I added was small nylon washers on the front & rear of each screw to protect the glass. I bought my washers from Amazon. They came in a pack of 100 for much less than I could buy them at a local store. They are small enough that they are not visible behind the screw. Totally worth the money!
My husband installed this into our bathroom renovation project months ago now and I still love it just as much as on day one! We’ve also accidentally knocked into it a few times while working and it’s very sturdy. Easy to put together and absolutely beautiful!!

I love this chandelier! A bit tedious to set up but overall really happy with it. Side note – do not over tighten bolts and nuts on the glass crystals as they may shatter. This may seem like common sense but we followed the instructions to a (no where in there did it note to not over tighten) and some of the crystals ended up shattering randomly post installation. No complaints especially because customer service was amazing and sent us several extra pieces and was very accommodating. Overall i would recommend this chandelier. Great quality, great price, and you don’t have to break the bank!
