    Such a lovely product!
So I know that this is for whiskey, however it is the size and look that I wanted for my olive oil! Absolutely beautiful and very nice quality!

    Elegant
There is only one problem with this set. Or more precisely, the decanter. The “cork” does not seal. For an occasional drinker, this is not something to keep your good liquor in unless you can go through it in a month or less. I’ll use this for gatherings with guests, probably for cognac, amaretto, or a sipping whiskey. While the wood cork provided is not functional for long term use, it is quite beautiful and lends a visual charm. The lip of the decanter is beveled inward to make a barely discernable bell shape that does seem good in the pour, and great after the pour. The crystal on the lip is the thinnest of the entire set. Yet it still seems quite strong. At 800ml capacity it can hold an entire 5th (750ml) of whiskey. But I don’t suggest doing that for reasons stated above, unless you will be consuming it fairly quickly. The shape is elegant in its simplicity and classy in an old world style. It stands out in contrast to the more common textured, decorative glass decanters. It’s sure to impress my guests at my next cook out. The bottom of the decanter is thick and heavy, it will not tip over easily. Yet the overall weight is not overly heavy, and is still easy to handle when full. The glasses are quite nice as well. The lips are a little thick for crystal, but still quite comfortable for sipping. They have heavy, thick bottoms and are very short and wide. I can fit a 10oz whiskey glass inside one of these easily (see picture). I have provided two pictures with one of these and a regular 10oz whiskey glass together for comparison. This unique cut and feel is very classy. You’ll want to break out the cigars. The acacia wood tray is beautiful and comfortably functional. It has smooth beveled dips for the decanter and glasses. It provides a very upscale presentation. Because I like my liquors on the rocks, I’ll probably find or make a thin cork coaster to set inside of the areas for the glasses.

High quality, well balanced decanter set. Beautiful crystal.
If you are looking for a beautiful and affordable decanter set, look no further. This is my first experience with Cork & Mill, and I am impressed.Glassware must have a weight and clarity to have presence. This set has both. The blown glass is perfectly transparent. I can confirm that yes, the set has all the light reflection of fine crystal. The pieces really are eye catching. The two low ball glasses are heavier than your average drinking glass, with gives a luxurious experience. I don’t like cheap glassware, and this point is important to me, especially when I’m having guests. The handsome decanter is also noticeably weighted at the base, with a smooth and ergonomically balanced body and neck. The lip has a slight bevel with a frosted finish, as pictured.I have smaller hands, but I find that I can still comfortably hold the glasses and pour from the decanter with ease. The acacia tray and “cork” are sanded smooth, and are very pleasant to the touch. The tray has soft rounded corners and a translucent varnish, showing off the natural intricacies and graining of this wood type. The “cork” does not seem to have a varnish, which is appreciated, since it may come in contact with consumables. I would not put any wood in the dishwasher, or leave it to soak in a sink. Wipe this tray and “cork” with a damp cloth, and follow up with a dry cloth. We have numerous acacia pieces in our home, from furniture to shelving to serving platters. It’s a hard and durable wood, and no two pieces are the same because its grain pattern is so unique. I’ve seen cracking and splitting in the bamboo items we’ve owned. So far, we’ve not had that problem in any of our acacia pieces. Also, sometimes you do see blemishes in acacia more so than in other hardwoods, but Cork & Mill did a good job with quality control with what I received.Measurements:Decanter = Approximately 7 1/2” x 4” (including “cork”)Low ball glasses = A little less in width than the decanterTray = Approximately 9” per sideIncidentally, I didn’t order this set for whiskey. I wanted something beautiful for when I entertain with my beverage bar. The decanter holds my homemade syrup for tea and lemonade, and the glasses hold accompanying fresh fruit. It’s lovely, and looks great paired with my other pitchers.I would recommend this set with no hesitation.

    Excellent
This is a beautifully coordinated, and put-together whiskey decanter set. Whereas the decanter is lead-free, hand-blown crystal, the glasses were added to make a matched set.The decanter is hand-blown, lead-free crystal. It has a heavy, thick, weighted bottom and flows upward to look delicate and more fragile at the top. Just like a swan.Lead-free crystal is more durable and scratch resistant than either leaded crystal or glass, because zinc, barium, or potassium is used instead of lead to make it strong. The fragile top of the decanter is stronger than glass of the same thickness.I want to mention that the lines of the decanter are delightful, with the squared bottom angles vs the flow of curves up to the neck. The clarity of the crystal is pure. There’s an acacia wood stopper for up on top, at the opening. The glasses were added to the decanter to make a set. The glasses are wide, heavy and thick bottoms like the decanter, and I believe are glass. The two 8 ounce glasses do work as part of the team, along with the decanter. The acacia wood tray is a beauty, with the grain running fairly straight from one side of the tray to the other. There’s no chaotic display to the grain. The tray is all of one piece, so the grains work together harmoniously. So do the tones. There are many variations of warm browns and beiges running the length of the tray. Here and there, a blonde streak or swipe.I consider high quality made items to cost more. Many people probably don’t look at the details. There are lots of details to this set, such as lead-free crystal being stronger than leaded crystal or glass.I find high value in this set, and I see the high quality of each item. And the whole. This set is worth the price of $45.
