Requirement for a Class
I purchased this book for a 3D Graphics class at Liberty University, as it was a required material for the course. The delivery was impressively fast, and the book arrived in perfect condition, wrapped in clear plastic to ensure its protection. One of the highlights is that it includes a code for accessing training videos, which adds great value to the learning experience. The content is well structured and easy to follow, making it an excellent resource for beginners and those looking to build a solid foundation in Autodesk Maya. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone taking a similar course or wanting to learn 3D graphics with Maya

Fair walk through, disappointing without colors
Faithful, step by step walk through of Maya 2025. Good balance of tutorials and key term reviews at the end of exercises to help with the terminology. If you need a little help learning Maya (it is enormous, powerful feature-filled software), this is an effective book. One caveat, however. The photos of the screen expectation are not presented well. They are very dark, grayscale images which really hinders more than helps. Some readers may find the need to be in very bright areas while reading, or perhaps this in combination with a magnifying glass.
