The Rocketman –
Exceptional set — great value but not for beginners
Lego created the sophisticating building of an Ultimate Collector’s Series set (think large Star Wars set) with this new (cheaper and smaller) Speed Champion. The techniques are very advanced and you have to pay attention to all the angles when building. This is *not* a set for a novice. The body sculpting on the car is exceptional and the patience required to put it together is amply rewarded. The process of building was enjoyable and you certainly get your money’s worth of entertainment there. There are only 7 stickers (yay!) but I would advice applying the ones outside the vehicle only after the build is complete to make sure they line up correctly. There is so much to enjoy here: (new) quality wheels, the many printed pieces, and the innovative use of parts. Best of all, the final product can be displayed without taking up an entire coffee table! This set is worth getting even without a sale — but a sale would make it a no-brainer.

honestly one of the better speed champions builds. these small cars are so much fun to build and their awesome to display. just be careful if you want a big car it’s only about 2-3 inches wide by 4-5 inches long
