This is an amazing jointer. Only wish I had gotten a slightly longer bed, but it will work for sure. The shipping was a joke, but Amazon was right there to make it right. The on off switch is perfect.

Very sturdy, great value, absolute delight to use
I was able to use my skid steer to unload it from the transport shipper. After that I was on my own to assemble. The packaging was a little flimsy but the jointer appeared to be in perfect condition after unboxing. The instructions call for 3 people to lift to assemble, but using some 4×4 blocks I was able to lift it in increments to the desired height and slide it onto the base using some scrap plywood. The remaining assembly took about 30 minutes. First cut had a little snipe but after adjusting the outfeed it’s virtually snipe free. You will need a GOOD dust collector. The chip port is a simple chute and the base to machine point is not airtight, so there’s a lot of waste air coming into the top of the chute. My last jointer was a Powermatic and I think I’m liking this one more.

Easy assembly with two people. Cutters needed adjusted, and also followed all other alignment instructions. Works great, and is very quiet.

I purchased this very nice machine for my professional cabinet/wood working business over a year ago. I use it nearly every job. It is very affordable and works well with the high volume of usage I put it through. No need to buy a more expensive tool when you have this machine. The built in mobile base was nice before it found its permanent spot it my shop. The feature for making rabbet cuts is super sweet and I still haven’t had to sharpen or replace the knife yet. It’s a great deal.
