Which Khamrah should you get? Original? Qahwa or Dukhan?
Khamrah has been hyped for years now, but is it really worth the attention? Here are some of my thoughts based on my experience with the Original Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, and the newest release, Dukhan. Hopefully, this helps you decide which one might suit you—or if you’d rather skip them altogether.Original Khamrah: Personally, I didn’t enjoy this one. To me, it smells like a wax candle you’d find in a church or something from Yankee Candle (though I can’t pinpoint the exact scent). It’s extremely sweet and very boozy. This is a definite winter fragrance and while it does smell high quality, it’s just not my style. I usually avoid overly sweet scents. However, I can see the appeal—if you enjoy strong, sweet, and boozy fragrances or like that church candle vibe, you’ll probably appreciate this. For under $30, it smells far more expensive than it is. Some people compare it to Angel’s Share by Kilian, and while I don’t think they smell exactly the same, they do share a similar DNA. Both lean toward a boozy, cinnamon-heavy profile. However, the execution is different enough that I wouldn’t call Khamrah a direct dupe. If you’re familiar with Angel’s Share, you’ll recognize some of the elements, but Khamrah takes its own path.Khamrah Qahwa: This is where the magic happens. If you didn’t enjoy the Original due to its overwhelming sweetness and you like coffee notes, this is the one to try. It tones down the sweetness of the Original and introduces a smooth coffee scent that blends beautifully. That waxy candle smell is gone, replaced by something richer and more mature. It leans boozy and sophisticated—perfect for men over 30 or anyone with a more refined style. I personally enjoy Khamrah Qahwa far more than the Original in every aspect. It’s not trying to copy any niche or designer fragrance, but it stands strong on its own as a very well-blended scent. At around $25, it’s an incredible value and smells like something much more luxurious.Dukhan: The newest release comes in at about $20 more than the others, but when I first smelled it, it immediately reminded me of the Original Khamrah. It’s like a toned-down version of the Original with a subtle hint of spice. Not drastically different, but enough to notice. It still carries that candle-like vibe, just less sweet. If the Original gave you a headache, this one might be more tolerable. It’s still boozy and sweet, but slightly more balanced. I’d say it’s a more wearable option if you’re curious about the Khamrah DNA but want something less intense.Final thoughts: Everyone’s nose is different, and we all have unique scent preferences. As a small fragrance collector with around 50 bottles, including both UAE and designer brands, my clear favorite is Khamrah Qahwa. It strikes the perfect balance of sweetness and warmth, with that standout coffee note that I absolutely love. I picked it up for $25, and it’s also available at Burlington for about $35. It’s ideal for cold weather, date nights, or any winter occasion where you want to smell refined without overspending.If you’re just looking for a safe blind buy or something more universally appealing, Khamrah Qahwa is the way to go, especially for men over 30 or those with a mature style. If you’re curious about the Original or Dukhan, I’d recommend Dukhan since it offers a similar scent but is a little more toned down. That said, I’d wait for the price to drop below $30. If you’re into very sweet, loud, boozy, and cinnamony scents, the Original might be for you.I hope this helps you choose the right Khamrah for your collection.

Nice, long lasting scent in a beautuful bottle and box!
I like it, a bit different note-wise than I expected but then, whoever writes the properties, nuances and whatnot; their take on the characteristics of the smell, I take with a grain of salt. The scent has overtones of what has been described by the manufacturer and I’m no authority. I do like the scent as I said but was expecting a bit more Amber to it. Has to me anyway, a light sweet scent initially and gradually “morphs” into a more subtle scent, not sweet. I bought two, one for myself and one for my grand-daughter who does not like sweet scents, but more masculine like leather, and Amber or Oak a d think this is a happy medium. The scent lasted for a good day and obviously dissipates, but rather slowly. The bottle itself is beautiful and the box is a work of art with the inner mirrored logo. It’s slick and a keeper if you’re a collector.

12.-perfume lattafa khamrahDiseño: exterior.-la caja tiene un diseño con una base que aparenta ser madera y una parte superior con una textura parecida al cuero.-en la cara frontal se encuentra el logo de la familia del perfume (khamrah), el modelo (QAHWA) y la marca (Lattafa) todo esto de color dorado y dentro de un marco igualmente dorado.-en la cara superior de la caja viene el logo de la marca en color dorado.-en la cara derecha de la caja se encuentra el icono de autenticación de lattafa.-en la cara trasera se encuentra el modelo del perfume, la cantidad en ml y oz de perfume, los ingredientes y las instrucciones de conservación y advertencias en varios idiomas(todo esto en color dorado)Diseño interior:.-por dentro el perfume se encuentra en una caja de espuma que tiene un ajugero cuadrado a la medida del perfume, esto protege al perfume de los golpes y lo mantiene en su lugar.-esta cama de espuma a su vez esta recubierta de el mismo material de la caja, el cual aparenta ser cuero, en la cara frontal esta inscrito en color dorado el logo de lattafa, la cantidad de perfume en ml y oz y el modelo del perfume.-En la parte parte trasera sobresale un espejo cuadrado y dorado y con las mismas inscripciones de la parte frontal de la caja solo que esta vez en un color brillosoDiseño del perfume.-el perfume tiene forma de un cubo.-esta echo de cristal tallado lo que le da una textura muy elegante.-el cara frontal tiene otra vez la familia, el modelo y la marca del perfume en un cuadro dorado.-la tapa también es de cristal y en la cara superior tiene un cuadrado dorado con la inscripción lattafa en blanco.-por dentro el perfume tiene un color dorado que como va descendiendo se va tornando en un color negroAroma:Ahora lo mas interesante, las notas que mas sobresalen a mi parece ser son las de madera, vainilla y licor. Esto da como resultado un aroma muy dulce y potente pero que no llega a empalagar, ademas este es menos oscuro que su anterior versión (khamrah)Es perfecto para un clima frío, te hará destacar con su gran proyección y te dará un aura de calidez, también es ideal para citas y eventos elegantesPara nada lo recomiendo para días calurosos ya que este podría llegar a ser empalagoso para los demás, tampoco es bueno para espacios cerrados debido a que como ya lo mencione proyecta muchoEl aroma es apropiado para mujeres pero sin duda alguna se destaca en hombresResumen: Es un perfume con presentación lujosa, bien cuidada hasta el mínimo detalle, y con una fragancia cálida y sofisticada que refleja seguridad. Perfecto para destacar en eventos formales o románticos en temporadas frías. No es un aroma versátil, pero en el contexto correcto, brilla con fuerza.
