Extremely nice, wish it was longer…
This throw is absolutely beautiful, soft & extremely well made. It is very light-weight and is just heavy enough to keep the chill off without being overly warm. The ivory color is nice.I bought this to replace an itchy, scratchy Afghan blanket that my x-wife made for me years ago. I need the throw for naps after work or on colder nights watching TV when the fireplace insert hasn’t heated up the room enough yet.My problem is that it’s just not long enough, wrapped around me sitting with my feet up on the cushion or laying down on the sofa – it needs to be about 10 to 12 inches longer (heavier weight would be nice too). The width is perfect. This seems to be the normal size for a throw blanket though, and stepping up to a twin-size for the sofa would be overkill on the width.I’m a 5’9″ 62 year old male, 180 lbs. When laying down on the sofa, I need to hook it over my feet (because it is so light-weight and slides up) to keep the cold out, and then the top just barely covers my shoulders. There are times when I’d like it to partially cover my face so that I can breathe warm air underneath it.Despite this, I’ll learn to adjust to it – I only buy high-quality things and this throw screams quality.

THROW HAS TASSLES
I would give this blanket 5 stars because of its excellent quality. But the throw has tassels, top and bottom. This isn’t advertised or I wouldn’t have ordered it. I took the tassels off after showing a seamstress. She showed me how and they come off easily. The twin and queen I ordered don’t have tassels. They’re the best blankets money can buy. Get one before they’re no longer available!

Made my mother happy
It did it for my mother’s birthday. I live on the other side of the Atlantic and because of the high shipping costs, I now prefer to rely on online shopping in the US for gifts to her. That means I don’t see what I buy and have to wish for the best. It doesn’t always work out. But this little blanket is, as the comments said, very comfortable and soft. She had a need for something like it. It was perfect.

⛔️ Warning ⛔️After one washing per instructions the “cashmere” pilled up and become rough to the touch and the blanket itself got all lumpy amd bumpy.If You are feeling reminiscent for your old army blanket this is the blanket for you.I asked for a return a week ago and they still haven’t gotten back to me.

Perfect for naps!
I love this blanket. I bought one 25 years ago and wore it out. Just bought a replacement. It’s a very soft, well-made, handsome, medium-weight blanket that’s the perfect size for naps.

It’s soft, but first wash was a mess
The blanket is nice and soft but when I washed it in the machine for the first time it shedded and unfortunately I added like-colored hand towels in the same wash and it was a headache to have to shake off all the shredded materials that emanated from the blanket so a recommendation is in order to wash the blanket for the first by itself

Misleading listing on Amazon
I found this blanket after checking cashmere only on amazon for throws. The labeling of this is misleading, despite continually mentioning cashmere it is 100% cotton.When listing an item please do not list it under materials that your product does not contain. Despite mentioning cotton in your description I believe this is still misleading marketing.I bought this blanket elsewhere and it was not anything like cashmere. Sure it’s cheap but don’t expect the same quality or comfort. You get what you pay for especially when the firm selling something is willing to compromise their integrity to get sales by mislabeling and comparing their product.
