This windshield sun shade replaced my old pop-up style ones that were always a pain to fold and never blocked heat evenly. The umbrella design is a game changer. It opens cleanly, fits snug against the windshield, and stays in place with the Velcro tabs.After parking my car in direct sun for hours, I could immediately tell the difference when I got back inside. Compact, Efficient, Easily Deployed/Folded, Excellent Sun & Heat Deflection
I was little hesitant to order this, but my circular flip-fold screen from my previous vehicle didn’t fit and I wanted to avoid the stiff foldable versions (too bulky and hard to store), so I thought I’d give this umbrella-style sunscreen a try. Very pleased I did – after a few tries initially, it was easy to figure out how to quickly deploy it. It fits very well (I got the medium size for my 2026 Lexus NX350), covering 98% of the windshield (very small gaps in the upper corners – but most sunshields have the same issue – definitely NOT a showstopper). It re-deploys/folds quickly and easily – you just have to “scrunch” it a bit and use the mirror strap to secure it so it fits into the supplied pouch (not really necessary). It does a super job of blocking the sun and the heat retention is minimal. The slot cut for the mirror allows quick and easy alignment and the velcro strap secures it to the mirror. The struts have vinyl covered springs at the ends which conform to the contour of the windshield. It’s about the size of a mini-umbrella, so can easily fit under a seat or in a door pocket. A great, functional solution to prevent direct sun damage to your dash and interior, plus keep heat buildup to a minimum. Great product and highly recommended.

Excellent quality. I measured my windshield from the inside. The inside measurement was quite a bit different from the outside measurement. I used the inside measurement to order, and it fits perfectly! The handle bends as needed. I am hoping to figure out how to open the umbrella with the handle behind the central camera screen on my dashboard if possible. Once folded, it fits nicely in the glove compartment. Much better option than other styles of windshield shades I have tried, especially with regard to compact storage!
