Not quite what i was expecting
The outside was very pretty but the inside not so much. Lots of glue or whatever it is everywhere the hinges were bent and uneven there were chips in it with an attempt to conceal. The inside is very rough with some sharp places. It was for my very well to do boss who was not impressed. Just a little disappointed not more care was taken

Beautiful inlay marble box
When I was in India, I visited the Taj Majal and was taken to a workshop and shown all sorts of treasures, but they never showed us smaller, less complex things we could give to others as gifts. These boxes are exactly what I wanted but couldn’t get. They are of a simpler design, with fewer pieces, (this art is priced by how many pieces are imbedded into the marble) but they feature the inlaid stones like the famous exhibit. I have purchased more than one of these boxes as gifts and they always get compliments. Someone in another post mentioned that the inside doesn’t have padding, but that’s normal for this box. Even the ones in Agra that are hundreds of dollars lack lining. You can put some cloth in it later. I highly recommend this little box.

Perfect little box for corralling my earplugs on my nightstand
The colors in this little marble box happen to match those in my bedroom, so when I saw it I knew I had to get it. Instead of have earplugs and hair ties all over my nightstand, they are neatly contained in this. I bought some little felt circles to stick to the bottom to make sure my nightstand wouldn’t get scratched. It is perfect.
