A great replacement for Montblanc Explorer
I bought this to replace an empty bottle of explorer, which has kind of been my dumb reach for the last 4 years, but continues to rise in price.The presentation is really fantastic for $30. The box is magnetic & could be kept as a stash box, and the atomizer is a pressurized fire hose.I realize l’Aventure is supposed to be a clone of Aventus, but I find that this is a better replacement for Explorer as this is also a lemon and Ambroxin heavy scent. The lemon isnt great quality but the darker notes in the fragrance do a great job of cradling it so it does sit a bit low in the profile. I get about 4-5 hours of staying power and the sillage is medium to low, acting a bit more as a bubble than a trail. This is a quality clone for the price and I would buy this any day over Explorer, as it has a has more raw personality than the formers rounded woods.

A good fragrance, just doesn’t last very long
The biggest thing I don’t like about this is that the performance/projection (sillage) is poor. I’m not sure if it is because of a reformulation or not, but the fragrance turns into a skin scent very quickly.The fragrance is good. It does smell like Aventus, this is true. I own both.The packaging is great. Yes, your fingers smudge up the mirrored-finish as others have said, but it’s quite beautiful.With L’Aventure, the initial application smells of citrus and you think you may have the wrong fragrance. Fear not. As it dries, almost if by magic, it becomes very Aventus-like and 99.9% of people will not be able to tell the difference. However, it’s not a total Aventus clone. Side-by-side, there are hints of pepper that Aventus does not have.For formal events, wear the real Aventus. If the cost is too much, then pay for a 2 ML or higher size decant. You don’t need to pay $300 for a full bottle, just buy a decant online from Amazon.I recommend this fragrance as a good everyday niche fragrance that is Aventus-like enough.

100% like Creed Aventus for a 1/4 of the price
Ok, So I VERY rarely leave reviews. For this particular cologne, I wanted to do my own test. I went to Dillards and I tested Creed Aventus. Before spending 100’s of dollars on a bottle of cologne, I wanted to first see if there were any colognes out there that smelled like Creed Adventus. This is ABSOLUTELY the one. I had Creed Adventus on one wrist and this on the other and they smell EXACTLY alike. I will say this one actually seems to last longer than Creed Aventus. Now, be warned….both of these are VERY light, sweet colognes. If you are more into the deeper, heavier “manly” colognes like Jean Paul Gaultiier, Pi, Joop (cheap as hell but I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear it) Bulgari etc, than neither of these is for you. Both of these don’t smell like anything I’ve ever smelled. It is hard to explain. They aren’t that kind of Citrusy Aqua mid warm ones like Armani Aqua Di Gio, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Versace, Issey Miyake, Chrome Azzaro or CK One. These two are in a very unique smelling group unlike any other colognes I have ever smelled. But, Don’t take my word for anything. Order this, when it arrives spray it on your wrist, go to Dillards or Nordstrom and have them spray the Creed Aventus on you….you will see exactly what I mean.

Habe mir extra das Original zum Vergleich gekauftBeide haben die selbe Duftrichtung/ einen gleichen Teil. Sie sind jedoch absolut nicht identisch.Das original ist zudem intensiver und langanhaltender.Beide riechen sehr gut.Wenn ich eins wählen müsste wäre es das originale aventus und dieses je nach Tag.

My husband has used this perfume for years . It’s his favorite. Very bold , manly scent , stays on his clothes even after washing. I got it for my dad . Very sophisticated smell. Very strong and yet very enjoyable to the next person. I especially love to smell this on my husband. I look forward to trying their female perfumes

Great bottle and case and would therefore make a nice present. This is possibly best Creed Aventus Clone on the current market ( 2019 ) . Superb scent . Great value for money. Its very strong so experimentation is recommended as to the number of sprays needed
