One of the pods came unsealed and looked used. The gun it self is not the one , with 3 speeds. I love it the products. But disappointed from what I received.

Very cool starter product
I was very excited to try this kit. I had airbrush makeup done for my wedding, and it looked and wore absolutely beautifully on my textured and oily/combo skin. I will say that I am not a professional, and only started even trying out different makeup looks in the year to prepare for my wedding, so I’m still very new to makeup. I liked this kit a lot, but I did have a few issues.This kit is very accessible to someone like me – I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. That said, there’s a learning curve, and I don’t think I’ve gotten it down yet. I like that it gives you so much control over how much you’re applying, but it’s a very small mechanism, so it’s extremely sensitive. I found that sometimes I would be holding it all the way open without even realizing it. I also like that you can adjust between three speeds. I only used the slowest setting, and that worked well for me.The pods are a really neat system. Each pod comes with a cap, so you can store them airtight between uses. I did have trouble getting the cap off one pod (it was the glow primer one) – I had to pry it off with a lever. Once off, it connected to the device, but I’m not sure if it was coming out properly. It was hard to tell because it’s the glow primer pod, and I don’t think it’s pigmented. The pod came out of the device fine, but when I put the cap back on, it was immediately stuck again. Bummer.The kit I received was not the right foundation shade for me (I need light, and I got light/medium), but that actually helped me see what I was doing better as I figured it out. It applied beautifully to my face, but it was VERY hard for me to get even application in places like the sides of my nose and under my bottom lip. It also looked terrible in my under-eye area, which might be because I have a lot of texture there (lots of prominent oil glands). I also found it a little harder to apply blush and contour in the correct place with the proper technique of using small circles (it says not to do a back-and-forth motion). I’m not sure how to do a narrow line by going in circles.I would love to try it in my correct shade, but the current price point is pretty steep for a new pod. However, I based on that, the starter kit is an excellent value. I also noticed that the starter kit in light had the same blush and contour shades as the light/medium, and I think they should also be lighter. I’m also cool toned, and the foundation and contour are definitely warm, so that’s unfortunate.I found that it didn’t dry down, and unless I set it, I could touch my face and it would immediately smudge. So it definitely needs to be set. It stays pretty clean, which is awesome. And each pod comes with a tiny foam pad that you can use to clean the needle. I would say it works okay, not great, and it for sure won’t last long. But it was a nice touch.The whole kit absolutely needs a bag or storage box to hold it all. I’m using an old amazon package box to store it, which works but isn’t “nice.” For the price point, a bag should be included. All in all, I think it’s really cool and I look forward to continuing to learn how to use it better.

Have you ever wondered how movie stars’ skin looks so flawless on the giant screen? Aside from having a glam squad and the best dermatologists and doctors on call, airbrush makeup creates their flawless complexions. I have always wanted to try it, but the systems are pretty pricey.Thankfully, Temptu has made it accessible for us regular folks. Enter the amazing airbrush makeup and airbrush set. It contains pretty much everything I need to do my full face – primer, highlighter (which can double as eyeshadow), blush, bronzer, and several shades of foundation. The star of the show is the Air Pod – the cordless and rechargeable airbrush apparatus. It is handheld, compact, and easy to grasp.The makeup comes in prefilled pods, so there’s no need to fill up the airbrush. Just open the airflow stopper, snap each one in, and it’s ready to rock. There is a learning curve on how to use them. First, the makeup pods need to be primed by pumping a small rod a few times. When I put them in initially, I was only getting air coming out but no product. It took me a while to figure out that there is a certain click sound I need to hear to make sure they are in properly and for the makeup to flow out of the nozzle. After a few tries, I got the hang of it. The printed instructions are clear and easy to use, and the online video tutorials are super helpful to provide visuals. Just like learning any new techniques, practice makes perfect.Once I got it going, that’s where the magic happened. I experimented with the different color foundations and found my match. When I applied it to my skin, I was blown away by the coverage. It was like real-life Photoshop! I airbrushed all redness, spots, and imperfections away instantly. The coverage was giving porcelain doll flawlessness. The foundation has excellent staying power that lasts throughout my day.The key is to use the right settings on the machine and don’t stay in one place too long. Or else you will have a Tammy Faye Baker moment! For foundation, click it on the second setting and keep it a few inches away from your face while moving in small circles. The fine mist covers the skin quickly, so it doesn’t take long to achieve full coverage. If you are looking for lighter coverage, apply it from farther away and add more until you are satisfied. When finished with the foundation pod, switch over to bronzer, blush, and highlighter. The primer is a good first step to help prepare the skin for the rest.Depending on how much time I have, I will use the foundation or all the steps. It does take more time to switch out the pods, so I save that for when I am going out and plan to do a full glam.If you are looking for a comprehensive airbrush makeup kit, this is an excellent option. For the price and quality, it is really amazing. Temptu makes it easy to be your own professional makeup artist!

I will say that there is a pretty large learning curve to using this and I would not recommend planning to use it before going out the first few tries. It builds very nicely – I started low and just slowly built it up to my desired coverage. I love how light of coverage it offers, it really ends up like your skin but better. The device itself does take a few hours to charge so I’d take that into account before your first use. It was so convenient getting everything you might need in one starter kit, though I do wish it came with some sort of carrying case. I’ve been keeping everything in a spare plastic bin I had but a carrying bag would be nice for travel, etc. It is quite expensive but with everything included, I do think it is a decent value. The machine itself seems durable and well made, which I do appreciate. One pass over is almost like a thin BB cream and 2-3 is like a normal foundation. Would recommend!

Great quality airbrush system! This airbrush system is very easy to set up and start using. Has great instructions as well. Has beautiful dry down time. Leaves. No sticky feeling. Everything has good pigmentation. Very easy to apply and blend out. Works great and if you can afford it is a great value!
