Heavy duty – Easy to put together – a few finish flaws in this one – WILL be nice with the Green Egg
As a thing designed to be outside in the weather – the finish is a little more important than it might ordinarily be. It’s likely just a random flaw on mine – but there are 2 spots – top sides near outermost part of the elevated “X” – directly over where the feet are – where about 1/8″ rough circles of “paint” were chipped off. TO ME, it looks like they might have been stacked a little before the finish was 100% dry?It’s not a big deal. The item otherwise is VERY STURDY. (Weighty is good for base intended to hold a BIG Green Egg!) The wider footprint it provides, along with a little extra height (and space between the Egg and whatever surface it’s on) make this a useful and deluxe accessory!
