    Great controller
As a fan of Super Smash Bros, I love how the controller looks, as the silver Smash Bros logo contrasts perfectly with the black buttons. The same goes for the white handles which contrast with the black body. It’s easily the most comfortable controller I’ve ever used, striking a perfect balance between the size the PS4 controller with the weight and near perfect layout of the Xbox One Controller. The sticks also feel great, as they have plenty of travel, as well as a nice lip/ring to hold your thumb in place. Most importantly, they fixed the D-Pad. The D-Pad has a much more defined central pivot, so you’re far less likely to press unwanted directions. Overall, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has easily been the best first party controller that I’ve used this gen alone, and has potential to be considered best controller of all time.

    Wired controller or Pro?
I’ve had the wired controller for a while, and the pro controller for a few days now, and I really do believe it’s worth the price. The controls work excellently with Smash Bros, and the analog sticks make for smooth gameplay. The wired controller is much more costs effective yes, but the con to it is that it cannot be used off of the stand, and that care must be taken when using it so that the switch does not get yanked from the place it’s sitting. Aside from that the controller is overall good, but anybody that doesn’t mind the price and someone that is serious about top quality gameplay should definitely go with this pro controller instead. (plus the slight transparent design and the smash logo make it much more appealing as well). If you’re able to get ahold of this controller, you should get it as soon as possible!

Best controller ive ever owned ever
The nintendo pro controller is, no hyperbole, the best controller I have ever owned. The most ergonomic, the perfect size to fit in my hands and I can get to every button easily without strain, not to mention the bluetooth functionality and HD rumble. Can use it on my phone, on my laptop, easily pairs to the switch and pairs to other devices without much more hassle than a standard bluetooth device, no latency. Absolutely love this controller. If that was not enough the super clean design on this specific controller. I love white and the silver on the main housing is great. Love it would suggest to anyone even if you don’t own a switch. Find a way to use it. Its a little pricey but considering the new Xbox controllers are 60-150 anyway I would choose this one any day of the week.

    Looks amazing!
This controller looks and feels great! The white contrasts really well with the black shell, and the smash symbol is a really nice silver. The triggers press down really nicely and the buttons have a good feel as well, not too clicky like the joy cons and not too stiff either like the power a controller. The joysticks are also really nice as well, they aren’t too loose(yet) and they have a very nice click when pressed. If you’re worried about the problems with the d pad don’t be! The problem has been fixed with this iteration just like the xenoblade version, actually the d pad on this controller feels a bit better than the one on my xenoblade controller.

    Great controller for Nintendo Switch
Love it ! Works exceptionally well, all around great controller it’s never given me any issues there has never been lag after hitting buttons or using. It easily synch & connects up every time I use it.May be Bit on pricey side but buying a good named controller instead of second hand knock-off type is better money in long term. Love it would buy again.

    Smash or Pass?
That’s a really terrible title for this post, but we all know why you’re thinking about getting it.”Should I get this controller to replace my Gamecube controller for Smash Ultimate?” And if you want a TL;DR, the answer is “depends on your experience”.I come from a background of playing pretty casually at school tournaments and with friends. The Gamecube controller was the go to controller for me and all my friends. However, I did not play professionally which makes it easy for me to “jump ship” and try a new controller out. Hence, that’s why I will be using this controller for any amateur / professional tournaments in the future. So, for the actual review of the product. It fits perfectly in the palms of your hand with an equal weight distribution. It has enough heft to it to not feel as light as a feather, but enough that I don’t get fatigued from holding it. The buttons main buttons on the right hand side are larger than the JoyCons, but a bit more squishy which I enjoy. The larger L and R buttons on the rear for shielding has an amazing feel to it, and so do the grab rockers. One thing that is going to take time to get use to is the analog sticks. They feel a bit longer than the Gamecube ones, and at times when I’m clicking the B button with my right thumb, it will glide against that lower right analog stick. That is probably the only gripe I have with the controller, but it’s probably because I have a big thumb or something.I love this controller so far, and with an amazing battery life of 40+ hours it is hard to beat. I just recently bought a travel case to keep this little sucker safe on the go and will get back to you all when I find out if that is good or not.Smash. Definitely smash. No pass.

    DO NOT BUY USED
DO NOT BUY USED! Mine came defective, damaged, VERY worn. It will not turn on, will not charge, nothing. I should have bought brand new for $5 more.

    Great Controller, Great Color Scheme
I am a huge Smash fan, so I had to get this as soon as it came out. I already had a Pro Controller, so I knew what I was getting into quality-wise. The controller is great- responsive, sturdy, and has a long battery life. I have been using it for about a month now, and I have no complaints other than a single time when the controller became laggy and unresponsive. This was easily fixed, however, by re-syncing the controller to the console. I am also wondering how the white grips will look after more use, but I will have to wait and see. Overall: would recommend!

I want to give it 5 stars because this such a great controller. I have all the current gen consoles and multiple 3rd party switch controllers and i would have to say that the pro is probably the most comfortable of any controller ive ever used. Perhaps its fitted right to my hands, but the buttons also feel nice, and the vibration is just right. It also looks nice which is a bonus. My biggest issue with this controller is the cost. Scalped prices are ridiculous but even at regular price its just too much for over $100. You can get multiple 3rd party controllers that are pretty good for that price. I have a few and if I could have tested them all at once and compared them, i would have just skipped this. Nonetheless, it fits nicely in my collection. Sorry nintendo. And i love Nintendo. Awesome product but waaaay overpriced. For that reason, i would say it’s 4 stars. 🙁 but again its so hard cuz i just love it so much. 4.5? If you have lots to throw around, i guess its worth it.

If you play in docked mode a lot, this is a great accessory. Before covid, I generally played mostly handheld because I was moving around a lot more. Being stuck at home, however, I’ve been playing in docked mode most of the time. The regular Joycons in the grip are quite comfortable to play with, but this Pro controller feels even more comfortable and very solid. The buttons feel bigger and more tactile, much more comfy to play with than the JoyCons.. It’s more ergonomic than my Ps4 Dual Shock controller, too, with MUCH better battery life. I really, really like this Smash Bros. Special edition. The white/ black/ silver style looks so much cooler than the plain black, in my opinion. It’s not clear from the photos but the gray section on the controller is actually silver. If you use thumb grips for the regular Joy cons, they will fit over the analogue sticks on this controller, too. I recommend using them because dust can otherwise get under them, especially if you live in Delhi.Really the biggest advantage of this controller might be that you don’t have to remove the Joy cons from the Switch every time you want to play docked; just slide the entire unit into the dock, and pick it up when you want to play handheld.

The controller itself is original but it came with a faulty left stick. It took me a while to realise it and it is has been a month now so I cannot even return it.
