Missing a crucial set of washers for sanding properly
This set worked perfectly… after I added some needed washers. It was a shame the manufacturer cheeped out on such a simple detail. The nut end was a standard out of the box washer, however, the chuck end required a little widening and trimming to allow the smallest rubber tube to fit. Without the washers, the rubber tube would slip past the end stops and the sanding tube would slip off. Once the washers were added, there was enough surface area to hold the rubber sleeves in place and give the needed compression to hold the sanding spindles. Post installing of the washers and I was able to use all the rubber tubes with the matching sanding tubes. No big slippage unless I was pushing very hard.

With a modification, these are compatible with a Ridgid oscillating sander.
These work with my Ridgid oscillating belt sander, but I did have to design and print simple spacers so that the bolt could put pressure on the rubber cylinder.

    Useable immediately
It fits my Triton spindle sander perfectly so I could use it without any modification or adjustments. it also fit my drill press so I could use it there is need be although I don’t generally use that for sanding

    It DOES need a washer.
This seems fine for what it is and its price range, but the claim in the description that it doesn’t need a washer or anything to keep the sleeve on is just plain false. They don’t fit the rubber cylinders tightly, and then especially once they’re spinning the sleeves slip right down. So far they’re not so loose that the cylinder spins inside the sleeve, but they’re not far off. I’ve dealt with this by making a flange/washer, and by adding a little glue just inside the ends of the sleeves. Because the inside is rubber the glue peels off easily, but it helps keep the sleeve on.

Good quality product for the price and sure beats buying a $300 oscillating sander.

Es muy buen torno para trabajos maravillosos

I haven’t tried the other sizes but the large one is loose enough to slip and wander up and down. I’ve needed to add washers to the top and bottom to provide more expansion of the rubber drum.
